Raj is currently the Chairman at Avalon Consulting, Germinait Solutions and AGR Knowledge Solutions, with a total of 48+ years of experience across various sectors. As a strategy consultant, he provides advisory services to corporate entities and private equity funds across three continents, offering strategic guidance on various issues such as new investments, navigating competitive pressures, leveraging outsourcing opportunities, and envisioning industry futures to attain leadership positions. His expertise lies in AI, digital technologies, and analytics domains, where he has also established successful entrepreneurial ventures.

Alongside his consulting work, he actively mentors start-ups and serves as an engaged investor, supporting the growth and development of emerging companies. Furthermore, he shares his knowledge and insights as a keynote speaker and writer, focusing on business strategies, economic trend forecasting, and the impact of technology. His track record includes accurately predicting significant events such as the 2008 financial crisis, the decline in oil prices, and identifying 2020 as a tipping point.

He has held esteemed positions in various business organizations, including the past presidency of the IMC Chamber of Commerce and Industry, a prominent business chamber in Mumbai. During his tenure, he spearheaded the digitization of the chamber's internal processes and external interface, enhancing efficiency and connectivity. Currently, he serves as the Vice Chairman of the Pan IIT Alumni Association India, representing the alumni of 23 Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs). Additionally, he holds a board membership at TiE Mumbai, actively contributing to the entrepreneurial ecosystem.

He holds an MBA in Finance and Marketing from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIMA) and a BTech Honors in Metallurgical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay (IITB).
